About
R.E. Postill & Sons Ltd.

R.E. Postill & Sons Ltd. was established in 1944 and has been serving Vernon and Area for over 80 years. Started by Russell Eugene, R.E. Postill & Sons Ltd. has been ever evolving with the growing community. Continually providing quality products and efficient service, R.E. Postill & Sons Ltd. has progressed through four generations of owners. Today the company is owned and run by Jamie Johannson and Linsey Johannson, the great-grandaughter of the founder.

Originally many of the jobs were out of town with one of the first jobs being the excavation of the Douglas Lake Drainage. Presently R.E. Postill & Sons Ltd. manufactures and delivers gravel. We operate two gravel pits, The Brewer Land Improvement Project and our Lavington Pit, offering a variety of commercial and landscape products.

R.E. Postill & Sons Ltd. is fortunate to have a great crew of longstanding employees, many of whom have worked for three generations of Postills. This loyalty greatly contributes to the success of the company today.

In the Community

Every year we are honored to donate in-kind services and monetary donations to local charity groups. We have provided an annual scholarship to Okanagan College for over 25 years to support students in need who show a strong work ethic but not necessarily top grades. Some of our more significant donations have been Okanagan College Trades and Training Center, The Okanagan Rail Trail, and a Benefactor donation to the Vernon Jubilee Hospital Tower of Care.  We also support many youth sports teams, organizations and initiatives. We strongly believe that it is important to have a business that people in the community want to support and a business where employees want to work. R.E. Postill & Sons Ltd. is committed to supporting our local community, which in turn supports us.
